1 apple of choice
2 carrots chopped or shredded
1 to 2 handful of spinach
1 to 1 1/2 cups of water of choice
You may also want to add:
1 tbs. chia seeds or other seeds such as flax, hemp or a combination of all three.
Juice from a wedge of lemon
A peeled slice of ginger, less than 1/2" unless you really enjoy a stronger taste of ginger.
A sprinkle of cinnamon
Blend until smooth, poor into your favorite drinking smoothie mug and enjoy all of these great tasty and healthy ingredients.
I usually cook my carrots just enough to make them a little softer and use that water as my smoothie water.
I will often cook a bigger batch of carrots and freeze some for future smoothies.
