Sunday Smoothies for Everyday
Basic Blueberry-Grape Smoothie
If you are a newbie at making smoothies just remember that practice makes perfect. Healthy smoothies are made to be enjoyed so let your own taste buds be the final judge.
I - small banana
1/2 - cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1 - cup natural unsweetened purple grape juice
2 tbsp. - plain yogurt
1 tbsp. - honey (optional)
1/4 tsp. - chia seeds (optional)
The chia seeds will help thicken the smoothie and their
nutritional benefits are: high in protein, fiber and essential omega-3 fatty acids.
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Poor and enjoy!
